Construction
Method
CLI's
construction method differs from conventional construction by the internal
steel frame support braces that anchor the side panels to the top, bottom,
and center partition. This is in lieu of wooden rails and/or corner
blocks that rely on a glued joint. Cabinets are further reinforced with
2 or 3 (depending on the cabinet height) solid wood stretchers in the
back. For added support, a 1/2" thick back is used on all units
taller than 40" in height.
Additionally,
all drawers are constructed with a four-sided "Dovetailed"
drawer box and a "replaceable" drawer front.
